This Week's Progress: Social Media, Research, Website Work & More

What a week it's been! I'm documenting everything as I build HLP Advanced Skin, so here's what I've been up to over the past few days.

Getting Our Social Media Off the Ground

I finally got our first social media posts out there! It's been a mix of excitement and nerves putting our brand out into the world, but I'm committed to building our presence on social platforms. I've been creating content around skincare treatments, beauty services, and giving little glimpses into what's happening behind the scenes. Social media is going to be huge for connecting with clients and sharing updates about our chemical peels, microneedling, dermaplaning, and other advanced skincare treatments we'll be offering.

The content creation process has been interesting - figuring out what to post, when to post, and how to showcase our professional beauty services in an authentic way. I'm focusing on building a community around healthy skin, self-care, and professional skincare treatments.

Going Deeper on Chemical Peel Knowledge

Beyond what I learned in my initial training, I've been doing a ton of extra research on chemical peels this week. I'm talking glycolic acid peels, salicylic acid peels, lactic acid peels, TCA peels - really diving into the different types, strengths, and applications. Chemical peels are such a powerful treatment for acne, hyperpigmentation, fine lines, wrinkles, sun damage, and uneven skin tone, so I want to make sure I'm offering the absolute best service.

I've been studying everything from pre-treatment protocols to post-treatment care, contraindications, and how to customize chemical peel treatments for different skin types and concerns. The more I learn about advanced exfoliation treatments and professional chemical peel services, the more confident I feel about delivering amazing results.

Website Development Continues

I've spent hours working on this website this week. Building a professional online presence for HLP Advanced Skin is crucial, so I've been refining service pages, creating an FAQ section, working on the about page, and making sure the booking system is smooth. Every detail matters when it comes to website design, user experience, and making it easy for clients to learn about our skincare services and book appointments.

I'm also thinking a lot about SEO and making sure people can find us when they're searching for beauty treatments, professional skincare, chemical peels, microneedling, dermaplaning, LED light therapy, and aesthetic services in our area. These blog posts are part of that strategy - documenting the journey while building up content and keywords.

Beauty Room Lighting Upgrade

This week I invested in better lighting for the beauty room, and wow, what a difference! Good lighting is essential for performing precise skincare treatments and advanced aesthetic procedures. I needed something bright enough for detailed work like microneedling, dermaplaning, and chemical peels, but also flattering and relaxing for clients. The new setup is perfect - professional, functional, and creates that spa-like atmosphere I'm going for.

Content Creator Partnerships

Exciting news - I've started making partnerships with content creators! Collaborating with influencers and beauty bloggers is going to help get the word out about HLP Advanced Skin and showcase our treatments. I'm looking forward to working with creators who can share their experiences with our skincare services, beauty treatments, and results from things like chemical peels, facials, and other advanced skin treatments.

These partnerships will help build brand awareness and reach new audiences who are interested in professional skincare, beauty services, and achieving healthy, glowing skin.

What's Next

As we get closer to opening in April 2026, I'm just keeping my head down and working on all the details. From perfecting treatment protocols to building our online presence to creating the perfect treatment space, there's always something to do. But I'm loving every minute of it.

I'll keep documenting the journey here on the blog - sharing updates about building the business, preparing for our launch, and everything that goes into creating a professional skincare and beauty treatment destination.

Thanks for following along!
